Meet the Speech-Language Pathologist
Kaila Bardoo, MS., CCC-SLP, TSSLD
Hi there! I’m Kaila, the proud founder of Simply You Speech Therapy—and a big believer that communication should be fun, functional, and accessible!
I’m a New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Master of Science from Molloy University and a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Fredonia. With years of experience in the field, I’ve had the joy of working with amazing children across a wide range of needs. No two children are the same (which is exactly why I love what I do!).
My clinical specialties include:
Early language development/late talkers
Speech sound disorders
Autism
Receptive & expressive language delays
Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
At Simply You, we bring therapy to you! We currently offer mobile services, which means we get to work with our clients right where they’re most comfortable: at home, at daycare, or even at the park! This makes therapy feel like play (because it is), and it allows for meaningful progress.
Outside of the therapy room, you can find me hanging out with my dog, Milo, sipping a caramel latte, or reading a good book. I’m so excited for the future of Simply You Speech Therapy and all the little voices I’ll get to amplify along the way!

Parent/Caregiver training empowers families with practical strategies to support communication growth beyond therapy sessions. We work together to create a consistent, supportive environment that reinforces progress and builds confidence through everyday interactions.

Does your child already receive services at school? Our summer-only sessions offer flexible, short-term speech therapy to maintain skills, boost progress, or address specific goals during the summer break.
